Dinner and a movie was the easiest answer to a perfect date add a flower maybe some candy and a balloon...5 stars easy.
Fast forwarding to 2011 all that would easily run up to 100 dollars given that she wants to see and IMAX 3-D movie and steak with wine and the imported chocolates with the biggest basket balloon with a teddy bear included...flowers oh yea a dozen! With gas and prob the cost to buy something new to wear you have hit $150-$200.
In college terms, WE DONT HAVE THAT! So you must learn how to think outside the box.

Fresh Dating
Fresh Dating is where you prob ask the person out for the first time or you've been out with friends only or its been a couple dates. What are some good ideas when things might be still nerve-raking. You want to be impressive this one could be the one!
1- Classes!....I know what?? Class Hell NO! But wait hear me out. Take Ur date to a fun class around the beach or around a local area. Art classes, cooking, dance...etc get creative! The fun part is that you get to work with them together and when it gets awkward silence you can always chip in on another group lighting the tension. Its fun and sometimes you can find a free -very little pay class. Great Idea.
2- Local events around the community- sometimes there might be a show in the local theaters, or a free band, or an art exhibit has a showcase. All you have to do is show up and look nice.
3- Get active! Go for a bike ride less talk more sights! (u have to feel this one out)
Definitely Dating
Wither its exclusive or not you know you and this person have a thing going on "Owwww"
1- Picnic in the park/beach- for under 20 you can make a nice lunch
2- Memory Walk - Go to either a park or any scenic place with a camera and just snap away. (This date is usually for more animated and creative souls) with the right imagination and creativity this can be super fun and take advantage of the self shooting button.
3- Boat rides- a Good good friend tipped me off to $10 boat rides at Redondo Beach, Naples in Long Beach also has a Gondolier at $20 each a little more but he sings!
4. Redbox/NetFlix and Cook Dinner! Don't forget the desserts!
5. Go out for a snack not a whole meal i.e yogurt, hot dogs
